Why we do what we do

Our programs and motivated by:

  • The vulnerable states of people struggling with the harsh realities of disability, poverty, and/or violent conflicts. This includes low self-esteem, lack of access to resources, poverty, hunger, economic hardships, and human rights abuses.
  • The needs, priorities, and concerns of people living with disabilities are most often left out in the planning and execution of most initiatives both by government and other nongovernmental organizations.
  • The neglect suffered by people living with disabilities where, most often, they have to fend for themselves despite their vulnerabilities and dependence on support.
  • The increasing inequalities they face because of dependence and violent conflicts
